What To Expect

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 2 Tim. 3:16,17

We seek to be complete and consistent in our teaching from the Bible, the Word of God. Expect that our teaching will be conservative, holding to established truths. We believe that God's ways are not our ways, that His thoughts are far beyond ours. We desire to know and be conformed to God's viewpoint, and to what extent we can, to understand them.

You will hear contemporary praise songs. You will hear a traditional hymn or two. We believe that our common ground is the one true, good and loving God, and that he calls us to gather together to celebrate his Son, Jesus Christ (Hebrews 10:25). We also believe that a principle of being part of the Church, is that older men and women can teach the younger men and women through their experiences, and that spiritually strong can teach the spiritually weak (Titus 2, et al.)  Because of this, we do not have separate "traditional" and "contemporary" services or segment individual services into such parts.

You will find that our dress is across the board. We believe that styles of dress are culturally-driven, and not specifically spoken of in the Bible. When in doubt, "come as you are."

Length Service
Our services last about an hour and a half.

There are as many or more children on a Sunday morning as there are adults! We have a strong Children's program. Children join their families for music and go to their own classes for age-based teaching time.
